Our main goal is to raise awareness of young people and other citizens in developing activities related to modern societies, focusing on humans, sciences and the environment. Driven by the fundamental human values, solidarity, respect, collective effort, as well as by our strong belief in the power of creativity and entrepreneurship, MoveIT has begun its journey towards social development, self-improvement and personal or collective progress, through passion, hope and strong will for hard work. Actions that the organisation has organised or in which it has actively participated<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n MoveIt has a rich portfolio of activities related to young people and their concerns about society and their future. Following the principles of respect to humans and equality, Moveit has participated in the \u201cEuropean Living Library\u201d project of the Europe for Citizens Programme of the E.U., aiming at breaking stereotypes, promote solidarity and interaction among people from different countries: the \u201cinternational living books\u201d shared their stories with \u201creaders\u2019 from across Europe, exchanged views and explored the world through the eyes of others. The project\u2019s activities were hosted in Greece, N. Macedonia, Serbia, Spain and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Our greatest motivation is no other than our valuable partners with great experience in the field of national and international projects, who are ready to offer the best results in society of the future, by making substantial changes in the society of today. Their work is supported not only by scientific, business and social stakeholders, but also by their own cognitive and empirical expertise.
Young people play a key role in our activities, as they are always willing to offer their fresh and clear perspective in our initiatives and become our best allies in our effort.\nFree of the stereotypes of dry formal education methods, armed with the vividness of informal and non-formal learning models and unconventional training mechanisms, we are heading towards a bright future!

OUR MISSION: To activate young people and citizens to develop activities related to modern societies focused on humans, sciences and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another hot topic for the future is definitely the energy transition and the changes it brings in our lives. MoveIt, in cooperation with Young Leaders in Energy and Sustainability Greece (YES-Europe Greece) and UN Sustainable Development Solutions Youth Network \u2013 Black Sea (SDSN Youth Black Sea) organized the youth event \u201cEnergy Transition: A pathway to the future\u201d with the aim to raise awareness among young people about energy and energy transition, the connection between energy and sustainable development, environment and climate change and the Greek and European policies and institutions active in the energy sector. With great sensitivity towards this topic, MoveIt is currently organizing the international photography contest \u201cenEARTHgy: wounds & blooms\u201d with the topic of presenting the connection of Humans and Nature through the art of photography and under the prism of energy transition.
Of course, when talking about youth, sports cannot be left out of the colourful portfolio of MoveIt, who is the coordinator of the project \u201cACRoSS - Age: Connecting & Revitalizing thrOugh SportS\u00bb, supported by the Erasmus+ program, and aiming at promoting intergenerational dialogue through sports. Along with our partners from Serbia and N. Macedonia, we mapped the tendencies of children and seniors in sports, explored their reaction in the perspective of such initiatives and developed a concrete guide for youth organizations and sports clubs who wish to involve such activities in their regular planning. Now it is time for the pilot activities to test the guide, with the participation of sports clubs from Thessaloniki, Skopje and Belgrade in April!
Last but not least, our modern approach towards youth issues, is revealed by our participation as partners in the project \u201cDigital YOu\u201d, cofounded by Erasmus+ Programme, with the aim to facilitate the digital transition of youth organizations. Along with our partners from Belgium, Serbia, Spain and Slovenia, we explored the challenges that youth organizations face in the process of their digital shift and we developed a digital platform to support them in this journey. Of course, we did not do it on our own! 40 young people from all over Europe cooperated and worked together in the framework of a huge Hackathon Event which was held for this reason.
