Description of the organization

EN.O Greece (Environment Online GREECE) is an NGO, established in 2012 (Court order number 2314/19-6-2012, TAX Registration No. 997614635) and residing in the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

Our activities range on issues and policies concerning the fields of: Human Rights and Gender Equality, ICT & New Technologies, New Media and Media Literacy, Environment, Art and Culture Job market and employability
Our aims and objectives are: - to contribute to social, cultural, artistic, athletic, scientific and professional development of community - to increase the active participation of youth and adults to social and economic life actively - to improve the sustainable policies - to create and provide methods and tools for non formal education -to encourage lifelong learning and research through international co operations - to promote intercultural dialogue and the spirit of friendship and cooperation between countries through exchange programmes -to promote non-formal education, intercultural dialogue and the exchange of good practices - - to organize national and international Training courses

Actions that the organisation has organised or in which it has actively participated

1.World Symposium ""Schools and Sustainable Development""
The 1st International Symposium on ""Schools and Sustainable Development"", organized by the Non-Profit Company EN.O. Greece (Environment Online Greece), under the auspices of the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, the Region of Central Macedonia and with the support of the Municipalities of Pavlos Melas and Thermi, was held from 17-19 of October, 2013, in Thessaloniki.
2.Young wine players: During the youth exchange, the participants came into contact with the primary sector in agriculture, harvested the vine, pressed the grapes and created moustos from which they made sweets. At the same time they watched the traditional production of tsipouro and danced traditional dances with bands from the village of Megalochori, Trikala
3.Adult Education: Staff mobility
IKY program: Train the trainers. The organization's trainers went to Palermo and Prague, where they were trained by trainers from the host organization on the additional skills and competences that a European adult trainer should have .

Volunteering opportunities provided by the organization.

Members of our organization provide services to organizations dealing with people with disabilities as well as organizations dealing with domestic violence and abuse of women.Our organization provides volunteering opportunities when requested by the municipalities and organizations we work with. New volunteers can register twice a year. There is a relevant announcement on social networks.
